Part one of your Colosseum and Food Tour: ancient Rome

Your guide meets you and leads the way into the Roman Forum, the center of Roman politics, religion and daily life. Then you climb Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome, to see the remains of the imperial palaces.

Next comes the Colosseum. You skip the line with priority tickets and step onto the arena floor, where gladiators fought before thousands of spectators. With the audio guide, you explore the amphitheater and its upper levels at your own pace.

Free time, then Monti at 6 PM

After the Colosseum, you have free time to rest or explore. At 6 PM you meet your local food guide in Monti, a short walk from the Colosseum.
