2. What we collect
Booking details: when you book a tour we receive the information needed to run it — your name, email address, phone number, party size, and the tour, date and time you selected. Payment is handled by our booking provider; we never see or store your full card details.
Enquiries and messages: when you contact us through a form, live chat or WhatsApp we keep the conversation and the contact details you share so we can reply.
Newsletter and downloads: if you sign up for our travel guide or newsletter we store your name and email address so we can send it to you.
Job applications: if you apply to work with us we store your application and CV to evaluate your candidacy.
Technical data: like most websites we collect basic analytics — pages visited, device type, approximate location — to understand how the site is used and improve it.
3. How we use it
We use your data to run the tours you book, answer your messages, send content you asked for, improve our website, and meet our legal obligations. We send marketing emails only if you opted in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the services needed to operate: our booking platform (FareHarbor) to process reservations and payments, our live-chat provider (Crisp) when you chat with us, analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) in aggregate form, and our hosting providers. We never sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the site to function, to remember your preferences, and — with your consent where required — for analytics and advertising. You can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.
6. How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as tax and travel regulations require, enquiry conversations for as long as needed to help you, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Data we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to us using the contact details in the footer and we will respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
